Switcheroo is a passive 4-channel, 5-way switch, using the Fender-style “Super Switch”. It is great for live performance, or where you want to be able to switch between various modules.
As the switch is a costly item, we do not keep stock. So you can order the panel from us and source the switch yourself, or we can put in a special order which will entail a few weeks extra delay.
Using
For example, many modular owners accumulate numerous VCFs: with Switcheroo you can instantly select between 5 VCFs. And because there are four independent 5-way channels on the same switch, you can do more than just select the output: you can use
- one channel to direct the input audio to the selected VCF,
- one channel to direct the KCV to the selected VCF,
- one channel to direct the envelope signal to the VCF,
- one channel to select the audio out of the selected VCF.
So the Switcheroo acts like a smart mult: instead of needing 3 active mults for distributing the audio and CVs to each module, you send the signals to only the VCF you need.
Switcheroo is just as good for
- selecting between different waveshapers;
- send your controller CVs and gates to different modulars, or patches, or voice modules;
- select between different analog controllers;
- set up complex patches that you can instantly change between.
