Envelope Mixer

Blat is a module designed especially for wind and breath controllers, with two outputs:

• Mix Out: At each new gate, it adds a velocity-controlled little pulse to the start of the envelope, to give a more “hard-tongued” sound. A note played soft can have a soft start, and note played hard can have a hard start. This overcomes the flaw in some wind controllers which always have a slight initial attack regardless of playing.
• Blat: at each new gate, it produces a little trumpet-like “blat” CV, a velocity-sensitive fast “delayed ramp” (AD) envelope.

Physical: 6HP wide, 60 mm deep, 16 pin power socket (10 pin can be used).

Power (Current): +12V: <10mA, -12V: <10mA, +5V NA.
